Can this camp be rented for retreats, family reunions, and gatherings?
Yes.
Are the kids in a safe environment?
- Gate is shut and remotely opened through the intercom.
- A Certified Lifeguard is on duty at the swimming pool.
- Adult sponsors are background checked and trained in Abuse Prevention through MinistrySafe™.
- Sponsors include teachers, police officers, church staff, and medical professionals.
Is there a First Aid station at camp?
Yes. A Camp Nurse is on campus and available 24 hours a day. Medications are dispensed at designated times (except rescue inhalers).
What does the cost for camp include?
- Camp T-Shirt
- Camp Handbook
- Food, lodging, and concessions
Do I need to send money with my camper?
No. The camp is completely cashless and there is nowhere to spend it.
Is there a concession stand?
Yes! Treats include snow cones, ice cream, drinks, chips, pickles, cookies, candy, and popcorn.
Each camper receives two concession bracelets, good for two items per visit.
What activities are available at camp?
Swimming, pedal cars, low ropes course, paintball (targets), disc golf, 9-square, 4-square, tetherball, basketball, hiking, and a 5K fun run!
Not all activities are offered every day.
Is there a family night?
No. For safety reasons, large groups of unknown adults are discouraged, and past issues have occurred with campers leaving without checkout.
Can a parent come down to camp?
Yes. Day visitors pay a gate fee. Meals may be purchased in the cafeteria using credit or debit cards only.
Can my camper be checked out temporarily and returned?
Yes. This must be coordinated with your church’s group leader.
